About Purim
Purim celebrates the deliverance of the Jewish people of ancient Persia, told in the Book of Esther. It begins at sundown on Mon, Mar 22, 2027 in 2027 with a reading of the Megillah, when listeners drown out Haman's name, and continues the next day with a second reading, mishloach manot (gifts of food sent to friends), matanot la'evyonim (gifts to those in need) and a festive meal, the seudah. Costumes and hamantaschen are part of the joy.
What suits the day
Purim's gifts are mostly food, so printed pieces play a supporting role. A name keychain wrapped beside the treats in a mishloach manot basket gives the recipient something that outlasts the hamantaschen. For the household that hosts the seudah, place cards with each guest's name set the table, and a family name plaque marks the home year round. A Purim motif for our holiday family plaque is planned for a later season and is not open for orders yet.
A note on noisemakers
We do not make groggers or other noisemakers, because they are toys and Keyedworks makes decor and keepsakes for adults. Our pieces never hold food.
Pieces are printed to order in our workshop and ship within about five business days. Order by Fri, Mar 5 for Ground or Tue, Mar 9 with Priority Mail. Chag Purim sameach.

No. Noisemakers are toys, and we do not make toys. Our pieces are decor and keepsakes for adults.
