About Passover
Passover remembers the Exodus from Egypt. It begins at sundown on Wed, Apr 21, 2027 in 2027 with the first seder, a meal told in order: the Haggadah read aloud, four cups of wine, the four questions, matzah, maror and the seder plate at the center of the table. It lasts eight days in the diaspora and seven in Israel, and many families hold a second seder the following night.
For the seder table
The seder gathers people who may only share this table once a year, so place cards with each guest's name, inlaid flush in a second color, help seat the long table with care. Bookends keep the family's collection of Haggadahs together on the shelf between years, with the family name on the front. A family name plaque by the door greets guests for both nights.
We are designing a seder plate stand that holds your family's own ceramic plate on a gentle incline, and a stand for an open Haggadah. Neither is open for orders yet, and the seder plate stand never touches food: your plate holds everything.
