Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to measure, choose and order here. This is how the site is built and how to tell us when something is in the way.

What we aim for

keyedworks.com is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. Pages use real headings, labelled form controls, visible focus, text that scales to 200 percent without loss, and colors checked for contrast in both light and dark modes. Every product page can be read without JavaScript; purchasing uses JavaScript and the checkout runs on Stripe's accessible hosted page.

What we test

Keyboard only navigation through every page and the full order flow, a screen reader pass on product pages and the cart, zoom to 200 percent on a phone, and automated checks on every build. Product images carry descriptive alternative text, and the measuring guides are drawn with labelled diagrams plus written steps.

Known limits

Live price updates are announced politely rather than immediately, so a screen reader may lag the visual price by a moment. The admin area is not a public page and is not held to this standard.

Tell us

If anything on the site is hard to use with your assistive technology, email [email protected] and tell us the page and what happened. We fix access problems ahead of other work, and if you cannot complete an order because of one we will take it by email.
