These pieces are designed and in first article testing: we print one, measure it and photograph it before anything sells. Each opens for orders when its test passes. Ask for a reminder below.
A fluted kinara with seven cups for 13 mm LED tapers, three red, the black centre raised, three green, your family name on the base.
Seven tiles, one for each principle, keyed onto a fluted rail in order, with your family name on the rail.
The kinara for LED candles and the Nguzo Saba tile set on its fluted rail, for $8 less.
Your family name and year with a wreath, star, menorah, kinara or 2027 motif, inlaid flush.
A fluted lantern with your family name cut through a smooth band and a Translucent sleeve inside, so the letters glow from an LED tealight.
Kwanzaa is celebrated from Dec 26 to Jan 1, seven days each devoted to one of the Nguzo Saba, the seven principles: Umoja (unity), Kujichagulia (self determination), Ujima (collective work and responsibility), Ujamaa (cooperative economics), Nia (purpose), Kuumba (creativity) and Imani (faith). Each evening a candle of the mishumaa saba is lit on the kinara, and the Karamu feast falls on Dec 31.
Our Kwanzaa pieces are made to sit on the table all week. A kinara for LED candles holds seven 13 mm LED tapers: a black center sleeve, three red to one side and three green to the other, with the family name on a fluted base. A Nguzo Saba tile set carries each principle in Swahili with its meaning, keyed into a fluted rail so one tile can lead each day. Both come in our Kiln and Timber colorways. The family name plaque is a year round piece that suits the season too.
Every lit piece is decorative and for LED candles or LED tealights only. Never use it with open flame. LED candles and batteries are never included.
Kwanzaa starts the day after Christmas, so its last order dates fall in the busiest week of the shipping year. The reminder form below sends one note a week before.
