Hanukkah lasts eight nights and begins at sundown. Each night one more candle is lit, using the shamash, the helper candle that stands apart on the menorah's ninth branch. The dates move with the Hebrew calendar, so some years the first night falls in late November and some years it lands on Christmas Eve.
Our Hanukkah pieces are made to be displayed. A display menorah for LED candles has nine branches with a raised shamash and the family name on a fluted base, made to hold 13 mm LED tapers. We position it as a display or second menorah: many families light a flame menorah for the mitzvah, and a printed piece is never a substitute for that. An heirloom dreidel set inlays nun, gimel, hei and shin, sized as a keepsake rather than a toy. The family name plaque and the key holder are year round gifts that suit a new home in December.
Every lit piece we make is decorative and for LED candles or LED tealights only. Never use it with open flame. "LED only" is molded under the base. LED candles and batteries are never included.
The first night arrives early in the season, before the Christmas rush, so the last order date comes sooner than most people expect. The reminder form below sends one note a week before it.
