About this piece
A place by the door for every set of keys. The family name and a date are inlaid flush 1.2 mm in a second color on a smooth panel framed by fine reeding, and three, four or five hooks stand out from a plain rail along the bottom. A square keyway notch is cut into the top edge.
The hooks are printed on their side, so the layers run along the stem, and each one presses into its own keyway socket in the rail. Two hidden keyhole slots in the back take the screws and wall anchors that come in the box. Keyed in Morse spells the family name in the flutes as dots and dashes.
