Diwali, the festival of lights, is celebrated across Hindu, Sikh, Jain and some Buddhist communities over five days, with Lakshmi Puja on the main night. Homes are cleaned and lit, rangoli patterns are drawn at the door, sweets are shared and families visit one another with gifts.
The family name plaque carries the family name and the year the household began, and a pair with an iridium gold or copper accent suits the season. The key holder puts the family name above the hooks by the door. Either makes a lasting gift when you visit friends and family during the festival.
Pieces planned for this season include rangoli tiles that rearrange into new patterns, diya shells and a kandil lantern. Every light piece is decorative and for LED candles or LED tealights only, never oil or open flame, and the tealights are not included. Patterns are drawn by our own code, with no deity imagery on decor. We describe these here only so you know what is coming to this page.
