About Retirement
A retirement gift has to carry years of work in a few words. Keep it to a name, the years and one line, and set it well.
Recognition that lasts
The award plaque is built for this: the name, the years of service and a short line of thanks, inlaid flush in a second color, with the organization written as words you type. It stands on a desk or hangs on a wall at home. For the last day in the office, a desk name plate with a title like "Out of office, permanently" gets a laugh and stays on a shelf.
Gifts for what comes next
Think about the life after the job. A golf ball display holds the balls from rounds that mattered. A watch stand or valet tray with their name gets used every day. If they are moving, a place contour tile of the new town, drawn from USGS elevation data, says go enjoy it.
Retirements peak in May and June. Order about 10 business days before the send off, longer if several people need to agree on the wording. Free shipping from $50.
Questions about Retirement
What should a retirement plaque say?
The name, the years of service and one short line, such as the role or a thank you from the team. The award plaque sets all three flush, with the organization as words you type.
Can the whole team sign off on the wording?
Yes. Order early, and if the plaque needs a proof, we email it before printing. You have 12 hours after ordering to change the words.
What do retirees actually use?
A golf ball display, a watch stand or a valet tray gets daily use. A place contour tile of where they are moving makes a strong farewell gift.
How early should we order for a retirement party?
About 10 business days before the party. Many retirements cluster in May and June, so order sooner in spring.
Can several coworkers chip in on one order?
Yes. One person places the order; the price is the same and free shipping applies from $50.
