In first article testing
We print the first one before we sell any.
- 1We print the first one on the same machine and settings as every order.
- 2We measure it against the drawing: fits, walls, the name inlay, how it stands or hangs.
- 3We photograph it and log the result. Only then does Add to cart switch on.
We plan to open it by October 18 if the test piece passes. If it needs another round, the page says so.

About this piece
A plaque for years of service, set in four lines: the name large at the top, then the role or rank exactly as you type it, the years served and one more line of your own. Everything is inlaid flush 1.2 mm in a second color on a 6 mm plate with fine reeding round a smooth panel, or with the first name spelled in Morse in the flutes.
Words only. We never print seals, insignia, emblems or slogans, and the plate names an organization only if you type it. We email the layout to check letter by letter before anything prints.
PLA, indoors only. Keep it out of hot cars and direct summer sun.

Questions about the service plaque
Can it show a branch emblem or a unit patch?
No. We print words only, so the role, the years and your line are set in our lettering. You can type the name of a unit or a station as words.
How long can the lines be?
The name up to 22 characters, the role or rank up to 30, the years up to 24 and the last line up to 32. The plaque widens a little for a long name, up to 278 mm.
Will I see it before it prints?
Yes. We email the layout and print only after you reply that every line is right.
What does Keyed in Morse mean?
The flutes above and below the panel spell the first name, or a word you choose, in Morse code. The card in the box carries the key.
