About this piece
A name for every stocking. Each tag is a slim 80 by 30 mm fluted plate, 4 mm thick, with the name inlaid flush in a second color. The square notch in the top edge narrows into a 2.2 mm slot that opens into a round eye: press the stocking's own hanging loop through the slot and it stays put, or hang the tag on a mantel hook through the eye.
A tag, not a holder: the stocking still hangs from your holder or hook, and the tag does not carry its weight. One, four or six tags, one name each.

Questions about the stocking name tags
Will it fit my stockings?
The slot grips a fabric or ribbon hanging loop up to about 3 mm thick. On a thicker loop or a hook, hang the tag through the round eye instead.
Can it hold the stocking up?
No. It is a name tag. Hang the stocking from your holder as usual and clip the tag to the loop.
How long can a name be?
Up to 10 characters. Longer names make the tag longer, up to 104 mm.
