Care and safety
- Laser engraved on basswood plywood 3 mm. Natural materials vary in grain and tone from piece to piece. We never laser PVC, vinyl or unknown materials.
- Decoration, not a toy. For adults 14 and up. Keep small parts away from young children and pets.
About this piece
A light wood ornament, engraved and cut on the same machine. Pick a snowflake, a house or a star of David, add a name and a year, and it is laser engraved into 3 mm basswood inside a ring of short fluted marks, then cut out with its hanging loop. It is 66 mm across and weighs about 5 grams, so it sits on a thin branch.
Basswood is a natural material: every sheet has its own grain and tone, and the engraving reads a warm brown. Leave the name blank for the design and the year alone; those are kept in stock.

Questions about the engraved wood ornament
Will every ornament look the same?
The engraving will, but the wood grain and tone vary from sheet to sheet. That is the material.
How long can the name be?
Up to 16 characters. Longer names engrave smaller to fit the ring.
Is the edge rough?
The laser leaves a thin dark edge where it cuts. We brush each piece; it does not rub off on hands.
Can I get four with different names?
The four pack is one design and one name. For different names, add single ornaments.
