Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, a month of fasting from dawn to sunset, prayer, reflection and generosity. Days begin with suhoor before first light and end with iftar at sunset, often shared with family, neighbors and guests. Many attend taraweeh prayers at night. Because the calendar is lunar, Ramadan moves about eleven days earlier each year; in 2027 it is expected to begin around Mon, Feb 8, 2027, and Eid al-Fitr follows at the end of the month.
Homes often mark the month with lanterns and crescents. For a household that hosts iftar, place cards with each guest's name make a long table welcoming, and a family name plaque by the door greets visitors through the month and beyond. We are working on a countdown board with a moving crescent and a fanous lantern for LED light; they are not open for orders yet.
Patterns are original geometric drawings made by our own software. We do not place Quranic text or calligraphy on decor, and the words on any piece are the ones you type. Countdown pieces hold tokens, never food. Lit pieces are decorative and for LED candles or LED tealights only; never use them with open flame.
Pieces are printed to order and ship within about five business days. Ramadan Mubarak.
Around Mon, Feb 8, 2027. The month begins when the new crescent is sighted, so the exact day can shift by one, and many communities follow their local announcement.
Order by Fri, Jan 22 for Ground shipping or Tue, Jan 26 with Priority Mail. We count from the earliest likely start so nothing arrives late.
