About Memorial Day
Memorial Day, the last Monday in May, honors the men and women who died while serving in the armed forces. It is not a day for sales, and this page has none. It is here for the families and friends who want a name kept somewhere they will see it.
A name, in your own words
The award plaque can carry a name, a role or rank as you write it, the years of service and one line of remembrance, inlaid flush in a second color. A picture frame holds a photograph with the name and years along the edge. We print no seals, insignia or branch marks; every word is typed by you and checked on a proof before anything prints.
Indoors, where it is seen
Our current pieces are PLA and belong indoors, on a shelf, a mantel or a desk. Planned remembrance pieces include a garden stake and a memorial luminary for an LED candle; outdoor pieces will be made in ASA and described as outdoor rated only after they pass a sun and heat test.
If you are ordering for a family gathering, give yourself time for the proof. Free shipping from $50.
Questions about Memorial Day
How is Memorial Day different from Veterans Day?
Memorial Day honors those who died while serving in the armed forces. Veterans Day, in November, honors everyone who served. This page is for remembrance.
When should I order for Memorial Day 2027?
Order by Fri, May 14 for Ground shipping or by Tue, May 18 with Priority Mail. Remembrance pieces are proofed before printing, so allow a day to approve the proof.
Can you include a branch emblem or unit insignia?
No. We do not print seals, insignia, emblems or branch marks. The name, the role and the years appear as words you type, checked at proof.
What can the plaque say?
A name, a role or rank as you write it, the years of service and one line of your own. Keep it as plain or as personal as you like.
Can the piece stay outside at a grave or memorial?
Not the current pieces. They are PLA and indoor only. Outdoor pieces will be ASA and are only called outdoor rated after they pass a sun and heat test.
