About this piece
For the medals in a drawer. A fluted bar with your name and a distance or a mantra inlaid flush in a second color, and a row of round pegs with flared caps so ribbons stay where you hang them. Choose 5, 7 or 9 pegs.
In the Morse finish the flutes themselves spell your second line in Morse code: a narrow flute for a dot, a wide one for a dash. To a visitor it reads as texture; the key is printed on the card in the box. It hangs from two hidden keyhole slots in the back.

How does the Morse finish work?
Your second line, for example 26.2, is spelled in International Morse code by the widths of the flutes, read left to right. The card in the box shows the code so you can read it back.
