About this piece
A small box for the Thanksgiving table. Everyone writes one thing they are thankful for on a card and drops it in, to read after dinner or to keep for next year. The box is 84 mm square and 28 mm tall, fluted all round in a walnut wood fill or marble, and the flat lid drops into a rebate flush with the rim. The family name, and a second line if you like, is inlaid in the lid's top in a silk second color.
A square keyway notch in the front rim shows the lid's edge, so a fingertip lifts it. Inside, a stack of 3 x 3 inch note cards and twelve printed leaves in the same silk color as the name.

Yes. Any 3 x 3 inch note cards or sticky note pads fit inside.
