We print the first one before we sell any.

- 2We measure it against the drawing: fits, walls, the name inlay, how it stands or hangs.
- 3We photograph it and log the result. Only then does Add to cart switch on.
We plan to open it by November 1 if the test piece passes. If it needs another round, the page says so.
Care and safety
- Laser engraved on natural slate coaster, 100 mm square, felt feet. Natural materials vary in grain and tone from piece to piece. We never laser PVC, vinyl or unknown materials.
About this piece
Four natural slate coasters, each 100 mm square with felt feet, laser engraved with a family or company name and the contour rings drawn from its letters, the way a map draws a hill. The Morse pattern sets the name in the middle and circles it with its own name in Morse code.
Slate turns light grey where the laser touches it and takes a hot mug without trouble. Add the printed fluted holder (Walnut wood fill or Marble) and the set stacks between uses. The stock set, with contour rings round the keyway mark and no name, ships in one or two business days.

Questions about the engraved slate coaster set
Can the coasters take a hot mug?
Yes. Slate is stone and takes hot cups. The printed holder is PLA, so the mug always sits on the slate, never the holder.
Are the edges even?
Natural slate has a rough, layered edge that varies from coaster to coaster. The face is smooth.
Can you engrave our company logo?
No. We engrave names as words. The contour rings are drawn from those letters.
How do I clean them?
Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not soak them or put them in a dishwasher; the felt feet come loose.
