About Sweetest Day
Sweetest Day falls on the third Saturday of October. It began as a day for small kindnesses and has become, for many couples, a second Valentine's Day in the fall. The gifts that land are small and specific: a date, two names, the song that was playing.
Two names, one date
A picture frame holds a photograph with your names or the date you met inlaid along the edge. The now playing vinyl stand shows the record on the turntable, with a name panel for the two of you. A place contour tile of the town where you met turns that place into a contour map.
In Morse
Several of our pieces offer the Morse finish, where the flutes themselves spell a name or a date: a narrow flute for a dot, a wide one for a dash. A planned Morse heart plaque is built around this idea and is described here only so you know it is coming.
Made to order pieces ship within about 5 business days. Free shipping from $50.
