About New job
A new job comes with a new desk and, often, a new title. The gift that lands is the one that puts both on that desk before the first meeting.
On the desk
The desk name plate is a solid slab that leans back on its own cut base, with the name and title inlaid flush in a second color. The desk set pairs it with a matching business card holder. A pen cup with a stacked monogram or a monitor riser with their name finishes a home office.
For a private office, the office door sign carries the name and title at the door.
Getting the title right
Titles change between the offer and the first day more often than you would think. Confirm the exact wording before you order, since personalized pieces are final sale except defects. You still have 12 hours after ordering to change the words.
Order about 10 business days before the start date so the plate is waiting on the desk. Free shipping from $50.
Questions about New job
What is the best gift for someone starting a new job?
A desk name plate with their name and the new title. It sits on the desk from the first day and gets noticed in every video call.
Can it include the job title?
Yes. Most desk plates take a name and a title line. Long titles fit on the larger sizes, and the page shows the size it needs as you type.
Do you make office door signs?
Yes. The office door sign carries a name and a title, with the letters standing slightly proud of the plate.
What if they work from home?
The desk set, a name plate with a matching card holder, or a monitor riser with their name suit a home office just as well.
How early should I order?
About 10 business days before the start date. If you are not sure of the exact title, wait until it is confirmed: personalized pieces are final sale except defects.
