We print the first one before we sell any.

  1. 1We print the first one on the same machine and settings as every order.
  2. 2We measure it against the drawing: fits, walls, the name inlay, how it stands or hangs.
  3. 3We photograph it and log the result. Only then does Add to cart switch on.

We plan to open it by November 6 if the test piece passes. If it needs another round, the page says so.

One email the day it opens for orders. Unsubscribe in one click.

Care and safety

  • Decoration, not a toy. For adults 14 and up. Keep small parts away from young children and pets.

About this piece

A gift card is quick to give and quicker to open. This box slows it down. It is 104 x 96 mm and 8.4 mm tall closed, and the lid sits on two hidden pins that run in a maze cut into the box: it has to step sideways before it will slide, pass two dead ends, and only then run out along the box and off the end. The square notch in the lid's edge marks where the maze starts.

A small tongue in the floor presses the card up against the lid, so nothing rattles to give it away. It holds a standard gift card or a few folded bills, in one galaxy, silk or metal color, with an optional name debossed in the lid.
