About Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Week falls in the first full week of May, and the best gifts are the ones that stay in the room after the week is over. A teacher spends more hours at a desk and behind a door than almost anywhere else, so we lean toward pieces that work there every day.
For the door and the desk
The office door sign carries the teacher's name and a second line for a room number or subject, with the letters set slightly proud of the plate so they read from the hallway. The desk name plate puts the name inlaid flush in a second color, sized to the letters, so a long name never gets squeezed. The fluted pen cup holds the markers and carries a stacked monogram. For a front office or library, the business card holder and name badges suit staff who meet families all day.
Ordering for a whole school
Parent groups and staff committees often order for every teacher at once. Send the list of names in one order; we proof every name before printing and ship the batch on one date. Planned pieces for this week, such as a name block and badge reel tops, are written for adult staff in the same spirit. Free shipping from $50.
Questions about Teacher Appreciation Week
When do I need to order for Teacher Appreciation Week 2027?
Order by Fri, Apr 16 for Ground shipping, or by Tue, Apr 20 with Priority Mail. Made to order pieces ship within about 5 business days, then travel 2 to 5 days.
How should I write the teacher's name?
Type it exactly the way it appears on the classroom door, such as Ms. Avery or Mr. Morgan. We print what you type, so check the spelling and the title before you order.
Can a class or a parent group order one gift together?
Yes. One person places the order and chooses the name and colors. For several teachers at once, team pricing takes 15 percent off from 10 pieces and 20 percent from 25.
Are these gifts for students?
No. Everything on this page is a gift for the adult teacher or staff member: a sign for the classroom door, a plate for the desk, a cup for the pens.
What if the name arrives misspelled?
If it differs from what you typed, the Keyed Promise covers a free reprint. If you spot your own typo, you have 12 hours after ordering to change it.
