What is the difference between traditional and modern gifts?
The traditional list grew from old European customs and runs from paper in the first year to diamond at the sixtieth. The modern list was added in the twentieth century with everyday gifts like clocks, china and watches. Either is right; many couples pick whichever material they like better.
Which anniversaries have their own material?
Every year from the first to the fifteenth, then every fifth year to the sixtieth. For the years between, people usually go back to the most recent milestone or simply pick a material that means something to them.
Can a printed piece really be wood or copper?
Our wood colors are a real wood filled filament and the metal colors are metal tone filaments, chosen to match the material of the year. For the years where a print cannot honestly stand in, like crystal or pearl, we match the color and say so.
