The gap problem
Every stock drawer organizer leaves a gap somewhere, and everything in the drawer finds it. Ours are generated from your inside measurements. The baseplate fills the leftover space with half cells so bins cannot move. The divider kit is cut two millimeters under your numbers so it drops in and stays put.
On the 42 mm grid
Our bins and baseplates use the common 42 mm grid, so they work alongside bins you may already have from other makers. Six bin footprints, three heights, a stacking lip and a label lip on every one.
Slotted dividers, no tools
The divider kit is long and short dividers with half lap slots that press together by hand. Anti slip feet on the bottom edge. Kitchen utensils, workshop drawers, bathroom vanities, desk drawers and tackle.
Materials
PLA, matte, in four stock colors. It is rigid, holds its shape in a drawer for years, and should not be left in a hot car or a sunny window.
Questions
How do I measure a drawer?
Open it fully. Measure the inside width from the inside face of one side to the inside face of the other, at the bottom, not at the rim. Measure the inside depth front to back the same way. For dividers, measure the inside height from the floor to the lowest point of the rim and take ten millimeters off.
What if my drawer is bigger than your printer?
Baseplates and divider kits over 300 mm in either direction print as sections that key together. You will not see a seam from above.
Are the bins compatible with other 42 mm grid systems?
Yes, they share the grid pitch and the common stacking profile. Keyedworks is not affiliated with any grid system's creators.
Can I get a baseplate without the fill at the edges?
Yes, choose Center the grid and you get full cells only, centered, with equal gaps at the edges.
