About this piece

A low tray, 28 mm tall, with a pen channel along the back, an angled phone slot and three open bays in front. The phone slot is 14 mm wide and leans back so a phone in a case sits at a reading angle. The three bays take the things that drift around a desk: earbuds, keys, a watch, clips, a card.

Three widths. 180 mm fits beside a laptop. 240 mm is the one most desks want. 300 mm spans under a monitor with room for everything.

What it fits

  • Any phone up to 14 mm thick in its case, which covers phones with and without slim cases.
  • Six to ten pens or pencils in the channel.
  • Earbuds case, keys, a watch, a card holder in the bays.

Four rubber feet are fitted so it does not slide on a glass or laminate desk.

Questions about the desk tray

Will my phone fit the slot?

The slot is 14 mm. Most phones in a standard case are 10 to 12 mm thick. Rugged cases over 14 mm will not fit; email us the thickness and we will quote a wider slot.

Can I charge the phone in the slot?

Ask for the cable notch in the order notes and a cable passes under the phone. A charging stand is not built in.

Can the bays be sized for something specific?

The desk tray has fixed bays. For bays to your own sizes, the custom box insert takes any inside length and width.

Is it heavy enough not to slide?

About 220 grams with rubber feet. It stays put under normal use. The pens in the channel add to it.
